Product Description

Jerry Jones Baby Sitar（中古品）です。

アメリカのナッシュビルに工場を構え、1950年代から1960年代のダンエレクトロ・ブランドのモデルをリシューしていた”ジェリー・ジョーンズ・ギター”の可愛らしいベイビーシタールです。

あのシタールの独特なフォルムを思わせるボディシェイプに、赤いクラックの入ったような柄を纏い、とっても良い雰囲気です。演奏方法等はギターと同じで、ピックアップの下部にある樹脂製の黒いパーツ“バズブリッジ”によりピッキングすると弦がその部分にあたり共振を起こすことで、あの独特な音色を再現しています。また膝あてが付いて快適に演奏もできますし、コンパクトで重量は、2.605kgと軽量なのもすごく良いですね。

ボディは、ソリッド構造、ピックアップは、ジェリー・ジョーンズオリジナルのリップスティックピックアップが1基搭載されています。コントロールはボリュームとトーンのみでシンプルです。ペグは、3連クルーソンタイプを搭載しています。

ニッケルパーツのくすみやピックガードの内側のペイントが割れている（剥がれている）ような箇所がございますが、使用キズは少なく、全体的には良い状態をキープしていると思います。製造は、1990年代後半あたりのようです。

エスニックサウンドを取り入れてみたい方や新たな音色を探求したいギタリストの方、是非、お確かめください。
