Quiam（クワイアン）は北海道産の木材にこだわり、北海道にて製作される北海道発信のブランド。エゾ松をはじめとした道産材にて組み上げられ、雪のように白い、まさに北の大地を象徴するかのように美しいウクレレです。
こちらのモデルは建築や家具製造等の道産材に関わる企業をメンバーとした道産木材製品販路拡大協議会が立ち上げたブランド“Hokkaido Wood”のプロモーションモデルとしてクワイアンが製作したニューモデル。これまでのコンサートモデル同様に道産トドマツを使用したネック、ボディの一体成型にエゾ松単板トップを張り合わせたスルーネック構造。指板とブリッジには新たに道産の桜材を使用しています。また、サウンドホール部にはエンジュ材で桜の花の透かし彫刻が施されております。表面から見ても美しいデザインですが、サイドサウンドホールからボディ内部を覗いたときに見られる透かし彫刻から投影される桜の影が素敵です。音量豊かで音抜けも心地よく、甘いサウンドはクワイアンならではでしょう。ボディバックにはブランドロゴが刻印されております。北海道限定販売品です。
