群馬にて増田明夫氏が製作する"Water Road Guitars"は、"音、弾きやすさ、デザインへのこだわり"を概念にオンリーワンのカスタムを製作しています。フィンガーピッキングに特化したギターを追求、極上マテリアルを最大限に活かした溢れる倍音と美事な象嵌、稀代の天才が造り出す日本が誇るルシアーギターです。本器は、ギターショウにも出展された”D-12 Cutaway”。Type-Dにカッタウェイを持つ1本。2012年製USED品。うっすらとベアクロウ杢が浮かぶ極上アディロンダックプルーストップ、濃淡鮮やかな縮み杢の浮き出た美しいキューバンマホガニーサイド&バック仕様。マホガニーネック、エボニー指板&ブリッジ、ゴールドゴトー510ペグ、ハカランダ天神板、クリアピックガード、トップアバロンポイントインレイ、アバロンロゼッタ、ココボロバインディング、カッタウェイボディ。ヘッドにはW.Rの人気でもあるインレイが配われており、鱗のようなクラッシュアバロンが美事な龍がデザインされています。豊かな倍音と音量を持つ本器。ローズ(ハカランダ)系とは異なりスッキリとした印象の響きを放つ1本で、密度が高く濃密なマホドレッドならではのサウンドが魅力的。アフリカンマホとは異なりしっかりと低音まで輪郭を帯び、またホンジュラスマホとも異なり太く甘い響きで魅せてくれます。ドレッドながら低音から高音までバランスがよく、力まずにただただ素直に弾くことでレンジの広い存在感のある演奏を奏でることができます。ドロップチューニングでも十二分な音圧と低音を響かせてくれる本器。ハカランダSJとは異なる魅力を堪能させてくれる秀逸な1本です。表面的な小傷がいくらか伺える程度の良コンディション。サドルマージンもしっかりと残っており調整幅もバッチリです。赤い悪魔などとも囁かれる真のマホガニー、キューバンマホ。流通も稀ですが、その実力は。。是非お手元で直にご体感ください。オリジナルハードケース付属
