Product Description
True Historic～Standard Historicを経て当時新たな完成形となった「Historic Collection」。
ハードロックメイプル表記のハンドセレクト材を使用した59 Reissueモデル。
2017年製 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue HRM(Hard Rock Maple) VOS Primary Burstが入荷致しました 。
所々力強いフレックが見られ、見る角度によって揺らめきを見せるハードロックメイプルトップのマホガニーバックボディに、ローズ指板を使用したマホガニーネック。
パーツはTrue Historicで採用されたものを引き続き使用し、ネック、ボディトップもニカワ接着を採用。
ピックアップはフロント、リア共にカバードタイプ「Custombucker」が搭載され、従来のPAFリイシューモデルに比べ非常にクリスピーなサウンドが特徴です。
半艶消しの様な仕上げにパーツにも若干のエイジングを加えた「VOS」仕上げ。
認定書、Hand Selectedの冊子には「HRM」の表記があり、ジェネラルマネージャー欄がまだ「Rick Gembar」となっている点もマニアには見逃せません。
若干の使用感、ヘッドトップに若干のスリキズ、ピックアップカバーに若干のクスミがあり、ストップテール際にトップコードがチップしたような跡、トグルプレート、ボディバック下部に米粒大のダコンは見られるものの、その他外観を損なう程のダメージは見られない外観コンディション。
トラスロッドは左右に余裕があり、フレットは全体的に9割キープ、ネックコンディションも良好でまだまだお使い頂けます。
ストライプ調の派手さはないものの、角度によって表情が変わり見る者、弾く者を楽しませてくれる杢目。
HRMトップの為か出力が低めな「Custombucker」搭載ながらも力強いサウンドが特徴な一本です。
