OM-45 John Mayer 20th Anniversary Modelが入荷致しました。
グァテマラン ローズウッドのバックビューは、センターに控えめなサップがあり、
全体的に柾目のバック＆サイドの個体です。
ブラジリアンローズウッドに代わる材として、近年Martin社が使用している高級材のグァテマランローズウッドですが、
高音域の抜けも良く、ブラジリアンローズウッドに比べ、低音が多少濃い特性を持っております。
イングルマンスプルースのようなレスポンスが早く、ピッキングニュアンス出しやすい材との組み合わせでああれば、
バランスの良いクリアーなトーンを奏でます。
OMモデルの中では、ナローナット幅びなっており、この辺りもJ.Mayer氏の、こだわりのあるところかと思います。
日本入荷も少ない2023年のオーダー リミッテッドエディションギターです。

2003年に発売されたジョン・メイヤーの初めてのシグネチャーモデルであるOM-28JMの20周年を記念して、ジョン・メイヤーとマーティン・ギターが共同開発した限定モデル。プラチナグレイバーストという新しいカラーで仕上げられたインゲルマンスプルースのトップ材、サイド&バック材にはニューハカランダとしても名高いグァテマラン・ローズウッドを使用し、ナット幅は42.9mm、Low Profileネックの現行モデルでは数少ない細めのネックシェイプを採用。ジョン・メイヤーのこだわりが詰まったモデルです。
