2004年製・イギリスの製作家 Pete Howlettによるコンサートウクレレ・極上Khaya Woodボディの美品USEDが入荷

イギリス・ウェールズにてウクレレ製作をしているPete Howlett氏。1994年よりIsland Koa Ukulelesブランドとして、オリジナルモデル、Vita Ukeレプリカ、ハープウクレレなど伝統的なスタイルから個性的なモデルまで、幅広く製作されています。

本器は2004年製、The Lucilleブランドとして製作された大変珍しい一本となっております。

375mmスケールのコンサートサイズ。14Fジョイント・15F仕様。
ボディには極上のカーリー杢が入ったカヤを使用。アフリカンマホガニーとしても流通する材ですが、ここまでの杢が入った材は大変希少です。マホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板＆ブリッジ。

ヘッドにはThe Luccileのロゴインレイ、美しいシェイプのピン式のブリッジなど、材の美しさを引き立てるシンプルな装飾が施されています。

塗装はヴィンテージ感のある半艶仕上げ、ペグは雰囲気のあるグローバーのフリクションペグが使用されています。

2004年製。ごく僅かなスレなどは見受けられますが、年式を考慮しても全体的に大変美しいコンディションを維持しています。ネックコンディションも良好、低めの弦高で演奏性も良好です。

コロコロとした軽快な明るさと、ふわっとした自然な柔らかさを併せ持った、心地良いサウンドが特徴。抜け感抜群の心地よいサウンドです。

国内ではほとんど流通していない、大変希少なPete Howlett氏のウクレレ。
