アメリカはカリフォルニア、美しいラグナビーチ沿いに工房を構えるルシアー カークサンド主宰のSAND GUITARS
本器はホンジュラスマホガニー1ピースボディに美しい装飾を施した 超軽量エレガット Custom Nylon Strings Abalone Trim MahoganyのUSED品。

サンドギターと言えば、チェットアトキンスはもちろん、トミーエマニュエル、リチャードスミス、ジョンノウルズ、ドイルダイクスといったギタリストにも愛用され、ギブソンのチェットアトキンスモデルやゴダンの基ともなった "エレガット"と呼ばれるギターの先駆者でありました。
1ピースの分厚いホンジュラスマホガニー材を贅沢にくり抜き、ルーティングによる中空ボディに、伝統的なブレイシングを持つトップを組み合わせることで、チェットからの要望であったサウンドを見事に叶え、その後はチェットのみならず多くのプロギタリストに最高のエレガットとして愛用されています。
サウンドホールを持たない本器は、豊かな鳴りを感じつつもよりスッキリとしたキレのあるサウンドが特徴で、一般的なナイロン弦ギターでは決して味わえない個性を持ちます。ハウリングに強く、バンドアンサンブル時にも威力を発揮します。
コンディションとしましては打痕や凹み傷は見られますが、ダメージの大きい箇所や修理が必要な箇所もなく、このまま安心してお使いいただけます。ネックの反りは見られず、弦高は6弦12F 2.5mm / 1弦 2.0mmと、ナイロン弦ギターとしてはのかなりローアクションセッティングとなっております。ケースはオリジナルの専用ハードケースが付属します。
