1962年にハミング・バードの上位機種として生産が始まったDOVE（ダヴ）は、1970年代のフォーク・ブーム〜現在まで常にフォークシーンの最先端で活躍しています。
本器は1968年製のヴィンテージ。
トップ：スプルース
サイド＆バック：メイプル
ネック：メイプル3p
指板：ローズウッド
ブリッジ：エボニー
ペグ : シャーラー
シリアルは1968年を指していますが、ネックグリップ、ペグなどは1970年代のような雰囲気があり、ヴィンテージ好きの想像を膨らませてくれます。ピックガードにはビス位置にパールが埋め込まれており、こういったデティールも1960年代後半特有のもので、ゴージャスに見えて非常にカッコ良いです。全体的に傷や塗装のダメージなどがございますが、ノークラックでネックコンディションも頗る良好です。
メイプルネック&ボディ、そしてアジャスタブルサドル（セラミックサドル）の組み合わせから生み出されるパーカッシヴなトーンにヴィンテージの枯れた要素がプラスされ、なんとも魅力的なサウンドに仕上がっております。歌モノに相性抜群と言えるでしょう。
