1992年製 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection "1959 Korina Explorer" Aged by Tom Murphy with DMC Parts が入庫しました
Just Arrival Newcomer !!
ギブソン・カスタムショップ・デヴィジョン が創設された 1992年、黄金期のギブソン・ギターを
現代に再現すべく、新たなシリーズとして企画された"ヒストリック・コレクション・シリーズ"
その記念すべき最初のモデルとし発売されたのは、レス・ポールでは無くこの"Korina Modanistic Guitar" !!
オリジナルは数十本しか生産されなかった幻の "Flying V" と "Exploler" をリッシューしました
そしてファースト・バッチの数組のみが生産されましたが、フライング・Vとエクスプローラの続きのシリアルナンバーのセットとして発売されました
その中身は、希少なコリーナ材をオリジナル同様な木取りと構造で再現した本体の完成度の高さは勿論、
ケースまでもを50年代同様な物をリッシューした事等は、"ヒストリック・コレクション・シリーズ"に対するギブソン社の本気度を市場に知らしめ、その高額な価格設定も衝撃的でした
今回入庫は、希少なそのファースト・バッチの"Korina Brothers"の1本“1959 Korina Explorer” !
しかも、ヴィンテージ・ギターのレストアは勿論、ギブソン・カスタム・ショップでの活躍で皆さんご存知の、
トム・マーフィー氏が”Guitar Prisavetion“にて、エイジングを施している機体です
外観は、ギブソン・ファクトリー時のエイジングよりも、より丁寧で非常にリアルにが施されている所は、
”Guitar Prisavetion“でのエイジングならでは！
内容は、ピックアップはオリジナルの”57クラッシックから、USA製のハンドワウンド・P.A.F・レプリカのダブル・ホワイト・ピックアップにグレード・アップされ、ポットは60年代のヴィンテージ・ポット、キャパシターも、
50年代のオリジナル・スプラグ・バンブルビーが搭載されています
パーツには当店オリジナルの”DMC“パーツを搭載！
ゴールドのピックアップカバー、チューン・オー・マッチック・ブリッジ、ライトウエイト・テールピース、スタッド・ボルト、のハードウエア、M69・ピックアップ・リング、ゴールド・ハットノブ＆ポインター、ピックアップ・セレクター・チップ、クルーソンスタイルのペグ・ボタン等、既にディスコンで入手不可能なエイジド仕様のDMC・パーツが使用されています
非常に入手困難な、正に”One Of Kind”！ 希少な、コレクターズ・ピースです！
トム・マーフィー氏直筆の”Guitar Prisavetion“のレターも付属致します
