1930年代にアコースティックギター、バンジョーメーカーとして誕生したレコーディングキング。昔ながらの手作りにこだわりながらもお手頃な価格が人気のブランドです。こちらのRD-10はスプルーストップにマホガニーサイド＆バックのトラディショナルなマーチンD-18スタイルのドレッドノートモデル。ボディ材はオール単板というハイコストパフォーマンス。フォワードシフトのスキャロップブレイシングとの組み合わせにより明瞭な音色が力強く響きます。シンプルなスタイルですが、存在感のあるサウンドが楽しめます。べっ甲柄のバインディングなどちょっとしたビンテージ感も漂わせています。コンディションは外観には細かな擦り傷が光の加減で見られますが、全体的にはまだまだ新しさを感じさせるきれいな状態です。ネックコンディションは良好で、消耗部品の残りも十分。演奏性も良好な状態です。
