Product Description
1953 Gibson "ES-140 3/4" Full Depth Body is now in stock!
In the early days of electric guitars, manufacturers sold student models to reach out to children and women.
This guitar is based on Gibson's basic archtop model "ES-175" and is about 3/4 size smaller,
This is a Student Model "ES-140" !
The full depth model was released in 1950, and the thin body "ES-140T" was introduced in 1956, and the full depth model was discontinued in 1957, so there were only a few full depth models produced.

The exterior has some minor scratches and weather checks as vintage gear, but overall it is in good condition, with original pickups and assembly!
The original peg buttons, which are shrinking and disintegrating, have been replaced with ones of the same shape, and only the plate part that attaches to the bottom of the body of the tailpiece has been replaced!
Since these guitars are from Gibson's golden era, the wood used is the same as the regular size guitars,
This guitar can be used as a bedside guitar as well as a regular guitar, so you will be very satisfied with this guitar.
