XoticはLA郊外にて96年にHiro Miura氏が立ち上げたブランドで、プレイヤビリティーと音を第一に追及し、オリジナルピックアップやプリアンプも製作する生産本数の少ないこだわりのギターメーカーです。
本器はストラトキャスタータイプのXTC-2 のUSED品。

ゴールドの下にベーシックな2トーンサンバーストの組み合わせ、長年の経年変化によって生まれた独特のグラデーションを見事に再現しており、唯一無二の存在感を放っています。

ネックは、オイルフィニッシュで程よい厚みのあるCシェイプのローステッドメイプルを採用、さらりとした質感は、手に馴染みます。

RV-60は、60年代ストラトキャスター・サウンドをベースに開発されており、明瞭で抜けの良い高音域と、ほどよいコンプレッションを感じさせる中域が特徴。クリーンでもドライブでも、立体感のある倍音が心地よく響きます。一方、RV-PAFは、50年代後期のレスポールに搭載されていたPAFを忠実に再現したモデルで、甘くふくよかな中低域と、倍音豊かなサスティンが魅力。ピッキングニュアンスへの追従性も高く、クランチ～リードまで幅広く対応します。
両者が組み合わさることで、シングルとハムの魅力をバランス良く併せ持った、多彩なトーンバリエーションを実現しています。
