アメリカ オレゴン州のルシアー ジョン・グレーベン。
中川イサト、押尾コータロー両氏が日本でのグレーベン人気の火付け役となり、今もなお多くのギターファンを魅了し続けるブランドです。
本器は、大ぶりのボディが迫力満点のThe Prairie State、2003年製のUSED品。
トップ：スプルース
サイド&バック：ハカランダ
ネック：マホガニー
指板：エボニー
ブリッジ：エボニー
ペグ：ゴトー510
その他：43.5mmナット幅、640mmスケール、牛骨ナット・サドル
世界中の流通は年々希少になっているグレーベン。
本器はグレーベンの作品の中でも最大サイズのプレイリーステート、貴重なハカランダ仕様です。
フィニッシュの風合いや華やかなインレイワークも大変美しい一本です。
図太く力強いトルク感と奥行きのある低音、まろやかながら抜けのいい高音が相まって、まさにグレーベンらしい優しくパワフルなサウンドです。ピアノの様な低音域は、6弦をCまで落とす様なドロップチューニングで演奏した際にはさらに低音の迫力が増し、また違った雰囲気を演出します。平原を意味するモデル名のごとく、雄大なサウンドをたっぷり楽しむことができる逸品です。
キズや使用感は少なく、年式からすると綺麗なコンディションを保っております。
