スティーブ・ギルクリストは1970年代にナッシュビルの老舗楽器店グルーンギターでリペアを担当していた、現在オーストラリア在住のアーチトップ&マンドリン製作家です。中古市場にも滅多に姿を出さず、マンドリンコレクターに非常に人気があります。
スプルース・トップ、メイプル・サイド&バック＆ネック、エボニー・フィンガーボード＆ブリッジ。
女性的で美しい雰囲気を持つ上品なナチュラル・フィニッシュと1930年代のL-5を彷彿とさせるブロック・インレイとのコラボレーション、、、仕上がりは、もはや工芸品の域まで達しています。
そして”優しさ”と”パワー感”が共存するアメイジングなサウンドは、Aタイプの中でもトップクラスでしょう。
小さな傷が全体的に確認できるものの、ネックコンディションは良好、全体的にグッドコンディションを保っております。デビッド・グリスマン氏より譲り受けた逸品、家宝になる事は間違いなしのマンドリンです！
