アメリカのイーストマンストリングス社は、中国、北京に自社工場を持ち、十分にシーズニングされた良質な材を用いギターやマンドリン、バイオリン、ヴィオラ、チェロ、コントラバスなどのあらゆる弦楽器を製造するファクトリーです。バイオリン属の素材の核となるメイプル材のストックは世界屈指の保有量を誇り、日本はもちろんヨーロッパでも絶大な支持を得るメーカーです。
本器はEASTMANのオール単板削り出しのアーチトップ、16インチのノンカッタウェイボディ、AR-805 with DeArmond PUの2022年製USED品です。

オール単板削り出しボディから生み出されるアコースティックでブルージーな響きは、ラミネイトでは味わえない空気感を醸し出します。音のツブ立ちを明確にさせ、より音が前に出る抜けの良いアーチトップならではのサウンドは、やみつきになります。
惜しくも廃盤となってしまったクラシックカラーは、ノンカッタウェイボディとあいまってより渋くカッコ良いルックスに仕上がっています。
後付けでDeArmond PUを搭載ししており、コントロールはピッキングの邪魔にならない位置に配置しております。生のアーチトップはPUのご相談を良く受けますので、これはライブでも即戦力としてお使いいただける嬉しいカスタムかと思います。
過去にはサドル一体型のピエゾが付いていた時期もあるようで、ブリッジ駒下からトップにかけて2mm程の配線穴がございますが、現在は埋められております。
小さなキズはございますが、目立つものはなく全体的に綺麗な状態での入荷です。演奏面のコンディションも良好です。
コードワークから単音弾きまでピッキングのニュアンスを余すことなく表現でき、ブルースのみならずジャズや弾き語りでも活躍しそうな一本。
