A 1980s Tokai TE200-RR "All Rose Telecaster" has arrived! This 80s TOKAI "TE200-RR" model was produced in limited quantities around 1980 as a recreation of Fender's late-60s All Rosewood Telecaster.
As part of Fender's extensive equipment support for the making of The Beatles' film "Let It Be," a prototype "All Rosewood Telecaster" was given to George Harrison. This prototype was heavily featured in the film, leading to market demand. Fender responded by producing this model for a short period, roughly from 1969 to 1972.
In Japan, this "TOKAI-made" version appeared around 1980, and a similar model was also released by "Fender Japan" in the early 1980s. The TOKAI model now in stock features a hollow body construction identical to the original, with two rosewood halves joined by a thin maple layer in the center to prevent delamination. The neck is made from a single piece of rosewood.
Externally, it shows minimal wear for its age. Considering it's a Japan vintage guitar, now about 45 years old, it's in excellent condition! The interior is also original, with no modifications or altered parts. It comes with the original TOKAI brown hard case. This is a Japan vintage piece rarely seen on the market! Don't miss this opportunity!
