☆For mail order information, please see the Shop Information section on our website☆ A 1965 Gibson "EB-0" has arrived in stock. The EB-0, a representative model of Gibson's 1960s basses.
Introduced in 1961 alongside the debut of the "SG" model, the "EB-0" underwent a model change. It utilized the same body as the "SG" model but featured a short-scale neck and was equipped with a humbucker pickup. This "SG" shaped body also spawned the dual-pickup "EB-3" model. The unit now in stock is a 1965 "EB-0".
It's a mid-1965 production model, retaining the specifications from its launch through 1964. It features a 42mm wide nut width specification. From late 1965 onward, the neck width narrowed to approximately 40mm, known as the narrow neck. Visually, it shows typical wear and weather checking for its age. Additionally, there is a history of crack repair on the wood around the control cavity, but it has been repaired and poses no issues for use.
The pickups and all other parts are original. Its unique bass sound has been featured in many legendary performances from the 60s! We offer it at a fair price!
