1991年シアトルを拠点とする製材会社の子会社として設立されたタコマギターズ。
惜しまれつつも現在はTACOMAブランドは無くなってしまいましたが、1997年に発表された革新的なPapooseシリーズを筆頭に、未だに中古市場では高い人気を誇ります。
本器はまさにそのタコマを代表する機種、PapooseシリーズのP-1の2004年製USED品。

サウンドホール位置が一般的な配置とは異なり、ブレイスパターンも一般的な構造とは異なる為、タコマ独自の個性的なサウンドを生み出しております。
ヒールレスのデタッチャブルネックにより、全体的にネック厚が薄く、ハイポジションまでスムーズなフィンガリングを可能。
チューニングはレギュラーサイズギターの5カポを抑えた解放弦、６弦よりA,D,G,C,E,Aとなります。
全体に所々キズはございますが、20年以上経過したことを考えると比較的綺麗な状態と言えるでしょう。演奏面のコンディションも良好です。
