Product Description
☆For mail order information, please see the Shop Information section on our website☆ A 1976 Marshall "JMP50 2187 Combo" has arrived. This is the "JMP50 Model 2187" vintage Marshall combo, the combo version of the 50W "1987" head from the same era.
Featuring the classic vintage Marshall control layout with 4 inputs and dual channels, linking the bass-emphasized first channel with the treble-rich second channel allows precise control over distortion and tone. It retains its original pair of Celestion G12M "Black Back" speakers, rated for 25W each, designed for heavy-duty use.
Externally, it shows the wear expected of a vintage amp, but overall it's in excellent condition! Internally, aside from replacing capacitors necessary for maintenance, the main components are original. To facilitate volume control even after channel linking, a master volume knob has been added to the control panel's presence control section, and the presence controls have been relocated to the rear panel.
The sound is quintessential vintage Marshall for its era. The added master volume makes tone and volume control effortless. 120V specification, 50W output. Speakers: Two 1976 Celestion G12M.
