大分県に工房を構える製作家・早瀬輪。彫刻家である父の影響を受け、幼い頃からものづくりに親しみ、子ども時代には民族楽器なども自作していたという経歴を持ちます。20代に関東の工房でギター製作を学んだ後、名工・鷲見英一氏主宰の「Sumi工房」を訪ね約4年半にわたり研鑽を積みました。工房ではブレース(力木)の接着やボディ組み上げ、木地・塗装の研磨、リペアなど多岐にわたる工程を担当し、確かな技術と音作りの感覚を体得。2016年に独立し、大分県竹田市の山間に納屋を改装した自身の工房を構え、アコースティックギターとウクレレを中心に製作を続けています。
本器はシダートップ、マダガスカルローズウッド・サイド&バックを採用した16インチのオリジナル・スモールジャンボモデル。ホンジュラスマホガニーネック、エボニー指板、マダガスカルローズウッドブリッジ、ローズウッドバインディング、オリジナルモザイクロゼッタ、マダガスカルローズウッドヘッドプレート、Gotoh SX510ペグを装備し、ベネチアンカッタウェイとアームレスト(コンター)加工も備えた実用性の高い仕様です。ヘッド裏の突板にはローレルバールウッド、ブリッジピンには水牛角、ロッドカバーには牛骨を用いるなど、随所に素材へのこだわりと個性が感じられます。

トップには独自設計のダブルXブレーシングを採用。全帯域が調和し、シダーらしい柔らかく包み込むような響きと奥行きある余韻を心地よく響かせます。身体に伝わる振動量も大きく、ひとたび爪弾けば“良いギター”であることを自然に実感させてくれる響き。装飾はあくまでシンプルながら、随所に遊び心と造形的センスを感じさせる、製作家の美意識が宿った一本です。
