1959 Spec !!! 1960年製 Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cutaway Cherryが入荷しました
Product Description
1955年に誕生したレスポールスペシャルは上位機種であるカスタム、スタンダードと同様のボディーシェイプを持ち、Juniorの兄弟機として好調なセールスを記録しますが、1959年にはハイフレットの演奏性を考慮したダブルカッタウェイシェイプへとモデルチェンジされます。本機は1960年製、ダブルカッタウェイシェイプへと変更後の個体ですが、フロントピックアップがその後の個体よりもややネック寄りに取り付けられた、所謂「’59 Spec」の1本。ネックグリップは太からず、細からずの丁度良い塩梅で握り心地は◎！何よりその乾きまくったサウンドが強烈で、ホンデュラスマホガニーボディー＆ネックとP-90ピックアップの組み合わせはやはり鉄板、ラウドでコシのあるサウンドが堪りません！チェリーカラーはフェイドこそしているものの、ネックジョイント部のリペアもなく、パーツチェンジも見受けられないナイスコンディション。1961年にはSGシェイプへとモデルチェンジすることもあり、この時期のSpecialで整った個体は中々出てきません！透き通るような生鳴りからして「できる！」と思わされる1本。後年のGibson製ハードケースが付属致します。
