The original double-cutaway body shape features a figured burl mahogany top, standard mahogany back, three-piece maple neck, and ebony fingerboard. It retains the original Super 58 pickups, with a Tri-Sound switch per pickup enabling versatile sound shaping: Series, Parallel, and Coil Tap.
Visually, it shows some wear consistent with its age, but overall it maintains good condition. The binding damage often seen on this model is minimal, and the rubber on the control knobs remains intact. The electronics are also completely original with no modifications! Finding a well-preserved unit of this model is difficult. If you've been searching for one, please consider this!
