1833年創業のC.F.Martinは、アコースティックギターの基準を作ってきた存在。

本器は、コンパクトマーティンを代表する、オーディトリアムボディのマホガニーモデル、00-18。2025年に刷新された最新版の新品です。

2025年に行われた大きな変更として挙げられるのは、ゴールデンエラブレイシングの採用。よりヴィンテージサウンドを意識した音作りとなりました。ナットの底面もかつてのマーティンに見られた角度付き接地、ネックシェイププロファイルの見直し、ヴィンテージスタイルのヒール形状、指板エッジが面取りされた優しい操作性、モダンベリーブリッジなど、隅々まで見つめ直し、現代の最高クォリティとなりました。
