Product Description

WALLACEは、アメリカのアンプビルダーBrian Wallace氏によるブランド。
もともと真空管アンプやとりわけ往年のMarshall系サウンドへの深い研究で知られる人物で、父が電子技術者、祖父がRCA系の真空管修理に携わっていたという背景もあり、若い頃から電子回路に親しんでいたと紹介されています。のちにWallace Amplificationとしてアンプ製作でも知られるようになり、JTM45系をはじめとするクラシックBritishアンプ・サウンドでは定評のビルダーです。
本機はその名の通りFuzz Face系のペダル、FUZZ ACEの2013年製USED美品。

初回生産は1991～1992年頃に手掛けた200～300台程度、その多くは日本市場に送られたそうです。本機はリイシュー版となります。
Fuzz Face系らしい太さ、粘り、そしてギター側ボリュームへの追従性が大きな魅力です。
デザインのかっこよさもあって人気のペダルです。
一箇所エッジ部にタッチアップ跡がある程度で、使用感があまり感じられない美品となっております。
