MAXON（マクソン）は、1966年に創業した株式会社日伸音波製作所のエフェクターブランド。
同社ではOEM生産も受けており、Ibanezブランドのチューブスクリーマーの躍進により、その名を世界に轟かせました。
本機はMAXONのドライブペダル、OD-802 / D&S ⅡのUSED品です。

仕様からして1980年前後の生産かと思われます。
"Distortion & Sustainer"の名を持ちながら、サウンドは単なるディストーションではなく、オーバードライブ的な自然さと、ヴィンテージ・ディストーションらしい太さを兼ね備えた独特のキャラクター。オペアンプはNEC社製C4558Cを搭載。
キズも少なめで、箱も付属しているコンディション良好な個体です。
