Historic Burst Reissue Collector's Release!
For a brief period in early 2003, certain Les Paul and SG models in the Historic Series featured Brazilian rosewood fingerboards as standard.
I recall that Gibson launched and discontinued this feature quietly at the time without any special announcement, but now the official website allows you to identify individual instruments with Brazilian rosewood fingerboards by model and serial number.
This new arrival is a 2003 59 Historic Reissue featuring that Brazilian rosewood fingerboard (commonly known as BZF)!
Externally, there are minor signs of use, but considering its age, it’s in excellent collectible condition!
It’s an original instrument with no modifications.
