Released in 2009 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the "1959" Les Paul Standard—one of the most highly sought-after models among original Burst Les Pauls—the "Historic Collection 50th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue"!
This used model features a cherry sunburst finish that evokes the look of a brand-new 1959 instrument, and boasts an attractive real figured maple top.
The 2009 model underwent annual refinements, featuring a neck shape that was adjusted from the previously thicker profile to a thickness closer to the original 1959 model. Additionally, the positions of the body-top knobs and tailpiece were revised, resulting in an appearance that more closely resembles the original.
