本器は、日本初入荷、メイプルボディを持つレイズドフィンガーボード仕様のEJ-13S。

レイズドフィンガーボードとも呼ばれるこのデティールは、アメリカの製作家トーマスハンフリーがデザインし世に広めたと言われております。ジョイント部分が持ち上がるおかげでハイポジションの操作性が向上することや、弦がブリッジにかかる力の向きが変わる事で、よりダイナミックなサウンドが得られるのも大きな特徴です。

そしてブレイシングには、ラティス（格子状にブレイシングが配置されている）、しかもトップには、シェラック塗装を採用しており、軽いタッチで弾いても大きな音量出す事ができる構造となっております。
