オーストラリアのメーカー、メイトン。同じくオーストラリア出身のギタリスト、トミー・エマニュエルの超絶プレイを支えるギターとしても有名です。このEBG808Artistはボディ幅の最長365ｍｍほどの小振りなサイズながら120ｍｍ厚ほどの深胴を持ったメイトンオリジナルシェイプ。取り回しのよい形状と豊かな音量とのバランスが取れたボディです。サイド＆バックには地元オーストラリア産のブラックウッドを使用。見た目はハワイアンコアにも似ており、キラキラと輝く杢が美しい素材です。ホールロゼッタとボディトリムにはヘリンボーンが入り、サテン仕上げで暖かみのある仕上がりのギターです。軽やかなレスポンスとメリハリのあるきらびやかなサウンドでフィンガーピッキングに人気の高いモデルですが、小振りながらふくよか響きは弾語りなどにも十分使えるでしょう。ブリッジピエゾとコンデンサーマイクをミックスして出力可能なメイトンオリジナルのAP5 Proピックアップシステム搭載。外観は全体的にもUSED感の薄い大変きれいな状態です。フレット等消耗部品の減りも少なく、ネックコンディションを含め演奏性も良好です。
