We have received a 1970s Ampeg "B-15N"
Ampeg B-15N with Porterflex Black Line panels
The power output was increased from 25W (Diamond Tolex era) to 50W, the control layout was
refined, and the exterior was updated to Black Tolex with silver panels and black trim.
This is the second version of the 50W model, featuring specifications from the mid-1970s—the final phase of the small-box era.
While the sound retains the character of the Blue Tolex era, the increased tone options and power output provide greater headroom
It delivers a sound suitable not only for recording but also for stage use.
The exterior of this unit shows signs of use commensurate with its age, but it is in good overall condition.
You can now enjoy the sound of the legendary James Jamerson on your own stage.
