Froggy Bottom Guitarsは、アメリカ・バーモント州を拠点とするハンドメイド・アコースティックギターブランド。創業者Michael Millard（マイケル・ミラード）は、1970年にニューヨークのローワー・イースト・サイドのアパートで最初の一本を製作し、その後Gurian Guitarsでの経験を経て、1974年よりFroggy Bottom Guitarsとして本格的にギター製作をスタートしました。
近年、創業者Michael Millardの引退を見据え、Froggy Bottomは新たな体制へと移行しました。一時はブランドの将来に注目が集まりましたが、現在はMichael Millardが“emeritus”＝名誉的な立場として関わりを残しつつ、次世代のチームによってFroggy Bottomの物語は続いていくことになります。
本器は15インチサイズ+カッタウェイ、Model M Deluxe Rosewood Cutawayの2019年製USED美品。

モデル"M"はフルサイズのコンサートボディ"K"より、さらにバランスの良いモデルとして生まれたボディ。タイトなウェストによって煌びやかさが増し、全音域のバランスも秀逸です。心地よい低音の厚みや、ピアノトーンを彷彿とさせる美しい響きが絶品。カッタウェイも相まって操作性も抜群です！
薄らとしたスレがある程度で、ほぼ使用感のない美品の入荷です。
深みと立ち上がりの良さ、時折見せるワイルドさも含め、これぞアメリカン・サウンドとも云うべきサウンドです。
