A 1973 Fender Stratocaster in "Excellent Plus Condition" has arrived in stock
A 1973 Stratocaster with a blonde finish that has retained its beautiful condition!
While many 1970s blond-finish models exhibit significant yellowing,
this particular instrument has maintained its beautiful condition considering its age. The see-through white sections, which were originally painted with a white burst finish, allow the ash wood grain to be clearly visible without being obscured by discoloration
The discoloration on the neck’s clear coat finish is minimal, and the lacquer-finished headstock top also remains in excellent condition.
The pickups are original black-bobbin models with staggered pole pieces, dating from the first half of 1974. The mounting screws are also the “flathead” type used up to 1973. While the selector switch has been replaced with a practical “5-way” version, all other parts are original!
Weighing in at just 3.71 kg, this is exceptionally lightweight for an ash-body Stratocaster of this era. It differs from the guitars occasionally seen on the market that look pristine but have been neglected because they were too heavy to play.
The sound is a vibrant, powerful early ’70s Strat tone!
We’re offering this guitar—with its distinctive “growling” sound on the low strings, a hallmark of this era’s great tone—at a fair price!
Comes with the original black Tolex hard case.
