2007年より製造が開始された、Authentic Series 初年度のD-28 Authentic 1937が、コレクター放出品 / デッドストック状態の個体です。
アディロンダック スプルース / ブラジリアン ローズウッドの、戦前Martin王道のスタイルです。
限りなく当時の工法で製作し、ヴィンテージ D-28を現在に蘇らせたカスタム ショップの真髄と言えるモデルです。
力強く、かつ繊細さもあるサウンドは、上質な材と職人達の技と魂が注ぎ込まれた、極上のアコースティックギター サウンドを奏でます。
近年はマダガスカル ローズウッドや、グアテマラン ローズウッドを用いたD-28 Authentic が製作されていますが、このブラジリアン ローズウッドのモデルが、D-28シリーズの最上位機種と言えるでしょう。
