Product Description

アメリカのSaga Musical Instrumentsが手掛けるブランド「Kentucky」。ケンタッキーは、昔、日本で製作されていたことは広く知られており、日本におけるフラットマンドリン製作のパイオニアである田原良平氏率いる田原楽器製作のケンタッキーから始まり、その後、春日楽器製造（カスガ）へと引き継がれていきました。現在は、中国にて生産されており、KM-1500などのハイクラスモデルから価格を抑えたモデルまで幅広く展開されています。

本機は、ブランドの中では価格を抑えたF-5スタイルのフラットマンドリンです。ダークめなサンバーストカラーの渋いルックスがカッコいいです。トップバックは削り出しのオール単板の仕様で、しっかりとした響きを持ちます。トップは、スプルースで、サイドとバックは、メイプルです。ネックもメイプルです。

ネックまわりにつきましては、約28mmのナット幅に、ほのかなVシェイプといった感じです。またクラシカルなデザインではありますが、指板エクステンドなしでモダンンなテイストも取り入れられておりプレイヤーにはうれしい仕様となっております。

サウンドは、華やかで、ヴォリュームもたっぷりです。サウンドバランスも良いと思います。
