A 1954 Gibson Les Paul Junior “First Issue” has arrived in stock
A first-year Les Paul Junior!
Released as the first variation model in the Les Paul lineup, this was a very popular model that, despite being an affordable version, was on par with the Standard model in both materials and craftsmanship
In particular, many of these first-year ’54 models—thanks to features like the shallow neck-set angle—produce a tone rich in harmonics and sustain. The unit we’ve just received is no exception and boasts an excellent sound
While many early models with shallow neck angles tend to have high string action, this one has been meticulously adjusted to provide a stress-free playing experience where you can fully enjoy its great tone
As for the details, the frets were refretted upon arrival, so they are 100% intact and the playing condition is perfect.
