Gストリング社は1993年に設立されたメイド・イン・ハワイブランド。現在はアメリカにて手工で製作され、価格も高騰しておりますが、当時はオワフの工房でチームで製造されており、手の届きやすい価格帯にて幅広く展開。たちまち人気を集め、ハワイアン3大ブランドの一つとまで称されていました。本器はハワイ製の頃のテナーサイズモデル2004年製のUSED品。ハワイアンコアボディ、マホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板&ブリッジ、グローバー製ギヤペグ。響きも良く、ハワイアンコアらしい甘さもあるサウンドで、素朴さと愛らしさも感じるハワイメイドならではの味わい。トップのセンターシームに割れの補修が行われております。一部に塗装の剥離や全体的なウェザーチェック、パーツのくすみなどは見られますが、プレイコンディションは良好です。しっかりと弾き込まれてきたことが伺えるプレーヤーコンディションの1本。セミハードケースが付属します。
