PRSを代表するフラッグシップモデル"Custom 24"。"Paul Reed Smith"が1985年に初めて出展したトレード・ショーで世に発表し、今日でも代表的存在かつ最も人気の高いPRSオリジナルモデルの決定版とも言えるモデル。また少人数のチームによってハンドメイドされるワンオフスペックの"Private Stock"は「売り物にしたくない程の素晴らしい材」を使用することから名づけられた通りの最高級の材で実現をされます。本器は2005年製"Private Stock Custom 24 Brazilian Rosewood FB Scarlet Red Burst"、同年東京のギターショウにてオーダーされた1本。PRSの創業メンバーであり、当時"Private Stock"の総責任者を務めていた"Joe Knaggs(ジョー・ナッグス）"によるハンドカービングの実演がされ、その後少数精鋭のチームによって政策がされました。サウスアメリカンマホガニーネック＆ボディバック、ウェストコーストカーりメイプルトップ、ブラジリアンローズウッド指板、ヘッド天神板とロッドカバーもブラジリアンローズウッド、PRS Phase IIロッキングチューナー、アノダイズドゴールドPRSストップテールピース、ピックアップはHFS&Vintage Bassの組み合わせ。アイコニックなバードインレイは黒蝶貝で14金の縁取りが施されています。圧巻なほどに豊かな倍音が溢れる芳醇なトーン、抜群のレスポンス、ピッキングニュアンスでの表現幅を抜群に楽しませてくれる1本。5WayロータリーでのサウンドバリエーションはまさにPRS然としたバーサタイルな万能性をしっかりと持ちつつ、各ポジションでのクリアな解像度と整然と弾き出されるレンジの広いアウトプット。こちら殆ど使用感を感じさせない美品コンディション。わずかなハードウェアのくすみや極細かな擦れ程度はあるものの、目立った傷などはなくフレットの摩耗も見受けられません。ロッドの調整を含め良好なネックコンディション、弾きやすいローアクションのセッティングができております。オリジナルハードケース、認定書が付属。
