The Vox "Wah-Wah Model V846" has arrived
Following the release of the Vox wah-wah around 1967, the "V846" wah-wah pedal was introduced after the Clyde McCoy Signature Wah
The unit we’ve just received is a “V846” manufactured in Italy around 1969–1970 and exported to Tomas Organ, the U.S. importer
While the exterior shows some signs of wear typical of its age, it’s in good condition for vintage gear,
and internally, it features a metal can inductor, Icar pots, an Arrow switch, and Arco and Ducati capacitors, making it
a highly authentic unit
It appears an AC jack was once installed; the extra hole is now covered with a metal cap.
The sound is one of the quintessential vintage wah tones, carrying on the legacy of the Clyde McCoy era.
