Tearsは長年楽器業界でアコースティックギターに関わって来たBirdlandがプロデュースする日本製のアコースティックギターです。製作されるギターの本数は非常に少なく、1本1本熟練した職人による丁寧な木工、塗装、組み込みが行われています。
Tearsの多くのモデルに搭載されているのがアメリカ製のHighlanderピックアップ。そのサウンドや信頼性の高さをBirdlandが考えるギターのカタチでご提供したいという思いから多くのモデルにHighlanderピックアップを搭載しております。
Highlanderピックアップは、「素」のアコースティックギターにシンプルな形でインストールしていますが、鳴りに優れたピエゾ+コンデンサーマイクのセッティングです。
木材に関しても全て、自社で海外から選定した物を取り寄せ、ボディシェイプやコンセプトに合うものを使用しております。
ナット材、サドル材、ブリッジピンには希少な水牛の骨を使用しています。(メーカーサイトより)

かなり美品の１本です。薄い弾き跡はありますが、ほとんどキズは見えません。ピックアップも正常に音出し出来ましたので、ライブでも即戦力です。
弦高12フレット 6弦側約2.4ミリ、1弦側約2.0ミリと弾きやすく、ネックやトラスロッドも正常に機能しています。
なかなか出てこない希少モデルかと思います。
