1997年製、Thompson TM1（中古品）です。

カナダブリティッシュコロンビア州バーノンのルシアー、エドワード・テッド・トンプソン氏によるブランド「Thompson」。今では市場でほとんど出回っていないブランドです。

本機は、約403mmボディワイドのくびれの入ったボディスタイルになり、わりとどなたにも馴染みやすいサイズ感と思います。経過した歳月を感じるトップの色づきがとても良い雰囲気です。

ウッドマテリアルを見てみますと、トップは、少し濃淡のある目の詰まったスプルースで、サイド＆バックは、素晴らしいマホガニーです。ネックも良質なマホガニーで、フィンガーボードとブリッジは、今では貴重な黒く引き締まったエボニーです。

ネックまわりにつきましては、ナット幅は約42ミリに、薄めのグリップですっと握り込むことができます。

ウッドバインディングなどシンプルで美しいルックスで、サウンドは、レスポンス良く、明るく艶のあるサウンドといった印象です。きらきらと高音がきれいです。

現在、人気の高いピックアップL.R.Baggs Anthemがインストールされており、ライブなどでもすぐにご使用いただけますのでプレイヤーの方には嬉しい内容と思います。

コンディション等につきましては、使用キズございますが年式を考えますときれいな外観を保っていると思います。深刻なダメージはございません。ブリッジピンは、タスクに交換されています。フレットは、整えられ、弦高も低めにセットされており、演奏性は良好です。
