While skilled male craftsmen were sent off to war, it was women workers - the "Kalamazoo Gals" - who kept Gibson's Kalamazoo factory running and built this masterpiece. This is a used/vintage instrument, so the following notes reflect what our shop was able to confirm during inspection.
- Weather checking, dings, and scratches tell the story of over 80 years of history.
- Multiple crack repairs on the body top.
- Overall over-lacquered finish.
- Frets replaced.
- Evidence of a neck reset.
- The 4th-string tuner shaft is bent, but tuning function is good.

- Action at the 12th fret: 2.2mm on the low E side, 1.4mm on the high E side.
- Saddle protrusion: approx. 2.5mm-3.0mm.
- No buzzing or dead notes; plays well overall.
