We’ve received an Unknown “SG Jr” from the 1980s
This model recreates the early ’60s SG Junior style
It is believed to be a Japanese-made instrument from a Japanese brand, but details are unclear as it currently bears a “Gibson” decal and logo
The body and neck are mahogany, the fingerboard is rosewood, and the parts have been upgraded to vintage-style components throughout
The pickups have been upgraded to DiMarzio “DP167” models, the pots are CTS, and the capacitors have been upgraded to Orange Drop and similar types. In addition, the plastic parts and hardware have also been replaced with vintage-style components
While there are a few minor scratches here and there, the guitar is in good condition for a used instrument, and it plays perfectly fine.
