A Revived Legend: the P-90 Tone
A P-90 magnetic pickup mounted above the soundhole combines the guitar's full acoustic voice with the thick, sweet tone P-90s are known for - plug in and you get 'that sound' instantly.
The Key to the Sound: a Deliberately Chunky Neck
At Okuda's request, it features a fat, 1950s-style neck profile, which is the real secret behind its powerful strumming response and full-bodied tone.
A Faded Cherry with Real Character
The compact body with a sharp Florentine cutaway is finished in a faded cherry reminiscent of an aged vintage instrument - striking looks on its own.
This was a limited-production signature model released in 2014 and is no longer in production, rarely appearing used since dedicated fans and tone-focused players tend to hold onto them.
