A 1978 Fender "Precision Bass" has arrived in stock
A 1978 Precision Bass with a sunburst finish and a rosewood fingerboard
While this instrument shows some age-appropriate playwear, weather checking, and fading in the red sections of the sunburst finish, it’s in excellent overall condition considering its age!
While many basses these days are quite heavy, this one is very lightweight at 3.77 kg!
As for the specs, the pickups are original, though the pots have been replaced; all other hardware is original.
The sound is quintessentially ’70s—light and nimble yet punchy—a classic Precision Bass tone unique to that era!
