Epiphone 2021 FT120 Masterbilt Excellente
Do you want an acoustic guitar with real presence, something that won't blend in with everyone else's - but keep settling for the same familiar, mainstream models instead?
The original FT-120 Excellente debuted in 1963, and with only 141 units built through 1970, it became a legendary rarity, cherished by artists including country queen Loretta Lynn. Epiphone's Masterbilt series brought that DNA back to life beautifully in 2021.
- All-solid construction for genuine resonance: a Sitka spruce top paired with ovangkol back and sides. This all-solid build delivers a focused, deep, rich tone and excellent response right out of the case.
- Stunning, artful looks: the historic eagle pickguard on the body, beautiful mother-of-pearl cloud inlays on the ebony fingerboard, and waffleback tuners.
- Practical for the modern stage: a Fishman Sonitone pickup mounted at the soundhole edge lets you get a great line sound instantly for live shows or recording, without compromising the vintage-inspired looks at all.
