L.Luthierは2009年、創業者Adwin Lai(アドウィン・ライ)によってマレーシアで誕生した新進気鋭のアジアンギターブランドです。アドウィンは10代でギターと作曲を始め、大学ではギターと声楽を専門に勉強、実際にシングルをリリースするなどミュージシャンとしての知識を持ち合わせています。本器はコンサートサイズのLe Light Koa Sのアクティブピックアップ搭載モデル。ギターのLEシリーズ同様、独自のサウンドホールが配置されています。トップ低音側上部に配置された2つのホールとサイド側にマウントされたサウンドポートでリハーサルまたはパフォーマンス中に高い感度を実現、演奏者自身にサウンドをモニタすることを主な目的としています。自身が聞くサウンドと聴衆へ届けるサウンドをセパレートして考えている所が特徴です。スプルーストップ、コアサイド&バック、マホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板、ローズウッドメイプルラインデザイン入りのブリッジ、オープンゴールドギヤペグ、緩やかにラウンドされたベネチアンカッタウェイ、バインディングセルは杢入りのメイプルにカラー、レッドカラーに着色されたウッドライントリムがアクセントになっており、モダンなデザインのアクセントになっています。アンダーサドルピエゾとコンデンサーマイクの2WAY構造でトップ側のホール部分に取り付けられたサムホイールでボリューム、マイクバランサーの2つを容易にコントロール出来る優れものです。コアらしい柔らかさとスプルースのクリアーで明瞭なサウンド。様々なプレイスタイルに対応します。持ち運びにも大変便利なオリジナルのギグケースが付属されております。
