カリフォルニア洲の閑静な港町、サンタクルーズで30年以上もギターを製作しているルシアー集団、"Santa Cruz Guitar Company"。ジェフ・トラゴット、リック・ターナー、シャンティギターのマイケル・ホーニック等々、このブランドに関わっていた製作家を挙げ出すとキリがなく、アコギ造りについては西海岸の聖地的存在といっても過言ではありません。本器は、その名の通りフィンガーピッキングプレイヤー向けにデザインされた"FS(Finger Style)"1990年代製USED品。また本器ではサイドバックだけでなく、ボディトップにも美しいリボン杢が映えるマホガニーを採用した1本。マホガニートップ、マホガニーサイド＆バック、マホガニーネック、マホガニー天神板、エボニー指板＆ブリッジ、シャーラーゴールドペグ、ウッドバインディング、ノンスキャロップドブレイシング、ベネチアンカッタウェイ。ナチュラルで上品な暖かさと豊かな音量感がありながら、鮮やかな音のキレ、明瞭な響きがグッドフィールの本器。飾りすぎず心地よい倍音感で開放的に広がる出音ながら、甘く食いつく単音の粘りもしっかりと表現してくれる完成度。各ポジションでのバランスに優れたボリューム感と、タッチニュアンスへの反応の良さが完成度高くまとまった1本。こちら細かな小傷や打痕、ローフレット指板サイドの若干の塗装欠けなど多少の使用感は見られますが、大きく外観や演奏性を損ねるダメージはなく経年を鑑みると印象の良い外観を保っています。ネックまわりも良好で弾きやすいアクションをしっかりと保っています。ポテンシャルの非常に高い上質のアメリカンギター、シンプルな外観仕様もスマートな印象の1本。是非お手元でご体感下さい。ハードケースが付属します。
