The "FT-120 Excellente" — widely regarded as the most opulent, most beautiful, and hardest-to-find flagship model in Epiphone's long history.

Fully revived in 2021 with modern technology as part of the top-tier Masterbilt line, this model is a dream instrument that beautifully merges historically significant, artistic ornamentation with the practicality demanded by today's players, along with the exceptional tone that all-solid-wood construction provides.

The original FT-120, born in 1963, is remembered as a legendary rarity: only 141 units were ever shipped worldwide during its brief seven-year production run through 1970.

This reissue faithfully carries forward that proud history, beloved by a select handful of top artists including the Queen of Country, Loretta Lynn.

What catches the eye immediately is a level of craftsmanship unlike any other guitar: the commanding eagle pickguard centered on the body, mother-of-pearl cloud inlays adorning the jet-black ebony fingerboard, and elegant gold waffleback tuners gleaming on the back of the headstock.
