The classic spruce top / mahogany back-and-sides combination gives the J-45 its signature punchy, dry dynamics and rich low end that hits you directly. It also comes with the tried-and-true L.R.Baggs Element VTC pickup as standard, so plugged in it still delivers that characteristic airy, warm J-45 tone on stage or in the studio.
This 2023-built example benefits from the fine woodworking precision of recent years and an easy-to-hold Slim Taper neck shape, keeping fatigue away even through long playing sessions.
The beautiful vintage sunburst gradient, an icon of acoustic guitar looks, gives it a commanding stage presence. It's ready to go straight out of the case for live use or recording.
J-45s are famous for significant variation in grain and tone from one instrument to the next, and this particular example stands out for its especially good balance between low-end resonance and high-end clarity.
