Gibson / 1962 Country Western
A 1962 Gibson Country Western. Introduced as the natural-finish version of the Southern Jumbo, this model was initially known as the "SJN" before being officially released under the name "Country Western." 1962, the year this instrument was built, sits right at the transition point, just before the switch to square-shoulder construction the following year, making this a valuable example from the final period of round-shoulder production.
The round shoulder shape produces a soft airiness and an enveloping low-to-mid range.

*As this is a used/vintage item, the following notes reflect what our shop was able to inspect.
- Fine weather-checking throughout the body.
- The neck has been over-lacquered overall.
- The nut has been replaced.
- Repaired wood cracks at the upper right and lower left of the soundhole (glued and reinforced).
[Playing condition]
- Action height at the 12th fret: 2.5mm (6th string), 2.0mm (1st string).
- Saddle projection: approx. 2.0-3.0mm.
- No buzzing or dead notes; playing condition is good.
